Digisight 數碼視覺Life is digital! May 11 Dragon Boat FestivalI went to Toronto for the Mother's Day last weekend. In T&T supermarket, I saw lots of rice dumping being put on sale. It reminded me about the tasty rice dumpings in Macau. I hope the ones we bought are good.
Tomorrow will be Stewie's physical appointment. I hope he's alright. Now he always sleeps right over my head. That way he doesn't need to run away when I trun around. Cats are so smart, aren't they?
Below are some photos I took when I went to Macau/HK last month.
September 08 Spring, fall and winter? Where is summer?Where is summer, eh? I don't think there is rain-check for summer...
We here in Canada has long enough winter every year, so we love summer a lot. However, this year summer hasn't really come yet. Those weather forecasters kept telling us that we'd have a very hot summer, so now they need a hole to stuff their heads inside. Now we have election "again". Four years three elections. Now I know why they're called political "party" - they have fun and we pay the bill.
May 30 Long time no update...It's been a long time since last blog entry...
I spent two weeks in New Zealand last December. I like it a lot. The nature is pretty well preserved. I think I'll go there again. Here is a picture I took when I was in the Fox Glacier area. It's been shortened by 5 km due to global warming.
I haven't processed any of the pictures I took in Auckland yet. I'll post some up very soon. Please forgive my laziness. November 06 A smart cat... too smart...Stewie doesn't like taking pills, so I got him something called "Pill Pocket". Pill Pocket allows you to put a small pill inside and feed your cat as treat. He likes it at the beginning. However, he later found out that there was some "stuff" inside. From then on, he refuses to take the treat. Now I have to manually open his mouth to feed him medicine.
He's not gaining any weight. I try to give him something tastes good hoping he'll eat more. It's fluid night tonight. He's not going to be happy again. Last time the technicians at the Billings Bridge Animal Hospital took pictures of him when I brought him there for fluid. They think he is cute. October 17 Tuesday, sunny skies...I brought Stewie to the animal hospital this morning. Dr. Chapman did the ultrasound scan for him. Of course, the bill is amazingly big. She said his heart may have problem because she heard some sound, but there is no immediate threat.
When I picked him up this evening, I waited for almost an hour. Dr. Chapman told me about the findings. However, more detail will be available only when the results of other tests come out. Stewie seemed to be very happy to see me there. When I put my finger into the carrier, he pushed his head fairly hard against my finger. This is how cats show association with someone or something.
Since his hair around his belly was removed for ultrasound scan, it feels really weird. Anyway, he feels good when he's home. |
